MARTINIQUE SHELLS : I shot this about a month ago while walking on Martinique Beach close to my home. At the end of the beach there is a spot where sand turns to beach rock and the area is littered with hundreds of crab and clam shells, and crustacean. Gulls take to the sky with them and drop them onto the rocks to crack them open It's quite amazing to watch. I lined up these four on a piece of driftwood and got down onto the rocks to get the horizon in the background. See more photos here >
